They came from all direction to this land that would be Oklahoma.
The Tennessee Waltz

The Tennessee Waltz is being played in the memory of my Great Aunt Frankie B. Loomis Triplett (Auntie).  She was the first child of Charles Franklin Loomis and Amanda Evaline Peairs and lived most of her life in Enid, Garfield County, Oklahoma.  She was a small child in the back of the wagon when her parents raced to claim their land in the Cherokee Strip Land Run.

I can see her now, on a hot summer evening, dancing alone, in her living room to this music. We will never know what she was remembering.

She died in 1977 - I still miss her so.
